Have your assistant hold the display in the location that you have
chosen. Take one of the screws and insert it into the display's pre-drilled
mounting hole (located on the side of the display). Now tap the screw
with your hammer to create a pilot hole. In the photo, I have pushed
the screw into the sheet rock to mark a location.
Though the display shown in the picture may be different from your
display, the installation procedure is the same. |

|
Do not hold the anchor with your fingers. Use pliers. With your pliers,
gently hold on to the body of the anchor. Do not crush the cutting
ribs on the anchor. Use enough pressure to hold the anchor firm to
prevent it from turning in your pliers. Now screw the mounting screw
all the way into the anchor. Then remove the screw from the anchor.
Repeat this procedure with the other anchor and mounting screw. Be
sure to keep each anchor and screw together as a set. Do not mix them
up. If you receive anchors with the screws already installed, remove
the screws from the anchors. |
|
| |
|
You will now take one of the anchors and install it into the pilot
hole that you established in the first picture frame. Do not drive
the anchor past the sheet rock.
If the
anchor does not screw into the sheet rock, you may have located a
stud, water pipe, electrical wire, or conduit. If you are sure this
is a stud, remove the anchor because you will not need it. Just use
the mounting screws. Sometimes you will not need either anchor. |

This is a photo of a correctly installed anchor.
Do not screw anchors
into a sheet rock wall if there is a screw attached. Anchors will
accommodate a # 2 screwdriver. Screw the anchor into the wall first,
without the mounting screw.
With your assistant holding one corner of display and you the other,
install your screw through the display and into the anchor. You
will have to visually locate the center of the anchor; otherwise,
you might screw into the side of the anchor, rather than its center.
(refer to photo A above.)

In this photo, I have anchored the right side of the display. You
now have to locate the left anchor position and install the anchor.
I am using a level to make sure that the display is level. If you
do not have a level, your assistant can stand back and sight the display
while you move it up or down. Now mark the last anchor hole location.
Your assistant can hold the level and display while you insert your
screw into the pre-drilled mounting hole on side of the display. Tap
the screw lightly with a hammer to make an impression (pilot hole)
in sheet rock. |
|
| |
|
You will now remove the display and install your second anchor into
the second pilot hole.
With the help of your assist, look behind the panel and start your
screw in the center of anchor and just turn it in about half of the
way in to the anchor. With your assistant holding the display do the
same with the other corner, visually locating center of anchor. |
|
| |
|
Before you tighten the left and right screws
securely into their anchors, place your level on top of the display,
and adjust the display until it's level. When you have squared the
display, tighten-up both screws. Do not over-tighten.
Your display is now ready to go to work promoting you and your clients. |
